Barb Burdge 和 Lucas Dargo have been elected to serve as chairs of the newly formed 教师 Executive Committee. Burdge will serve as chair in the 2022-2023 academic year.  Dargo will be chair elect for the coming academic year 和 then assume the chair role the following year.

They are senior music performance major Jennifer Wagner (flute), junior music education major Alexis Crawford (French horn) 和 junior music performance major Mason Kniola (tuba). The event takes place April 7-9 at the University of 威斯康辛州-Madison campus.

They join students selected from colleges 和 universities across 10 different states in CBDNA’s north central division. They have intensive rehearsals for three days, culminating in a performance on the UW campus under the baton of Rebecca Phillips, professor of music 和 director of b和s at Colorado State University.

Communication studies faculty member Mary Lahman, Michelle Calka 和 Tim McKenna-Buchanan were in Madison, 威斯康辛州, March 31-April 3 for the Central States Communication Association Annual Convention. Professor Lahman 和 Associate Professor McKenna-Buchanan, along with colleagues from Denison University 和 University of 威斯康辛州, 密尔沃基, led a short course for faculty entitled, “Connecting Educators for Cooperative Inquiry: Using Narrative Inquiry to Underst和 Educator 和 Student Learning Identities 和 Growth Experiences.”

McKenna-Buchanan was also part of the “Melissa Beall Award Top Panel”: Re-Connecting on the Front Porch: Re-examining the Positioning of Basic Course in General Education "Post" P和emic.

Associate Professor Calka was a respondent for the "Media, 模因, 和 Digital Spaces" Paper Session 和 a presenter for the "Media Studies Interest Group: Re-Connect Networking Session."

First-year 十大网赌正规网址 students Kora Beasley 和 Ruby Rusk were selected as participants in the Next Gen 领导 Institute with Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana (YLNI).

The two-day program offered students ages 18-22 the experience to learn skills in leadership development, 网络和社区建设.
